Well it's Sunday again so it's time for the update: Let's get to it. No, wait.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT VOTED FOR ME IN STEVE'S CONTEST.
I am pretty sure I won. Steve will have results up tomorrow. Thanks.
Monday we biked outdoors 24 miles.
Tuesday I walked my dogs 3 miles
Wednesday, 4 mile run and then swam
Thursday indoor biked 20 miles
Friday/Saturday I didn't do much. We had a dinner party Saturday and prepped and cleaned.
Today I ran 6 miles.
I am down another 3 pounds so I have lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks. Right on target. I took more days off last week than I wanted to. Probably should have gotten a run in or something on Saturday. But that's how it goes.
I went to the bike shop today to see about my bike and it sounds like I should be expecting a delay. Seems that Quintana Roo is having a hard time meeting demand in our area. My Lucero may not be in for a couple more weeks. I did make sure that everything would be there and we would be able to get everything done.
Made some other decisions on the bikes.
Jenny is going to use Flash-point FP60 rear and FP40 front. I am going to use FP 60 for both front and rear
I am going to keep using the Shimano Ultegra pedals. I like them and they are what I have always used. Jenny is going to switch to Speedplay Zero pedals on both her bikes.
We are going to go with 105 rear cassette with 12-27. Should make it handy to have that extra gear for the hills if needed.
Going to run Michelin Pro Race Ironman tires on the Flash-points wheels.
Now the stuff just needs to come in so we can ride em

Hey, I want to congratulate you for your victory in Steve´s contest!
I tried to catch you in the end, but I guess your sprint was too much for me, ha ha.
Congratulations!
Gabriel
Congratulations on the win, Mike! Very well deserved.
Congratulations! Very inspirational story!
Great week, Mike.
Hey, what are you doing diet wise to lose?
Good call on the rim sizes. Went from just thinking about it to trying it after our conversation. Stuck that old Kyserium rim on the front and yesterday was windy as hell. Rode MUCH better than that 60 that was on there. TY for the info, Mike.
Ugh. It's like Christmas Day on steroids.
